Valentine Cupcakes

So I was thinking about what to bake for Valentine's Day and came across some recipes for Chocolate & Wine Cupcakes.. two of my favorites.. actually three (choc + wine + cupcakes).  Plus what better combination for V's Day - right!?  I decided on a Chocolate & Chianti cupcake with Mascarpone icing.  I found Mascarpone on one of the recipes and I've never tried it so of course I was curious (supposed to go very well with the other flavors).. it sure did!!  I had fun with these.. always love trying out a new recipe or flavor combo.

I baked my cupcakes in 'sexy' leopard wraps ;)

Here they are all frosted and pretty (made some fondant hearts for toppers)
